Game 4: CC's Rush
Lost in the astonishment that the Yankees did not notice Ryan Howard did not touch the plate in scoring the tying run, was that the throw to second base to try to get Pedro Feliz was made not by Jorge Posada, but by CC Sabathia.
It's unclear if Posada or anybody on the Yankee bench noticed that Howard had manage to belly-flop cleanly over the dish, but Sabathia certainly didn't, and it cost him a chance to preserve the lead.

Posada is not on his game and I could not believe he dropped the ball let alone did not notice he missed the plate.
I am glad we are up 4-2! Teixera is up with Jeter at first perhaps his bat will join the party?

MORE stellar umpiring.
MORE evidence of the need fr electronic calling and instant replay (like in tennis)
Maybe one of the 37 umpires on the field should have noticed...

My youngest brother and I live three hundred miles apart, so we text during ball games... his last one tonight... Howard has STILL not touched home.... then in deference to my southpawness, (he's handicapped by being righthanded) he (and I concur) that Mr. Lee gets us to a game six
